What happens at this event?

This 75-minute session begins with standing stretches and balance work using the TRX as both support and prop for yoga postures. The practice then evolves into a TRX strength and conditioning sequence designed to build core stability, arm and leg strength—offering a truly full-body workout.

The session is fully adaptable to all levels, with movements personalized to each individual’s goals, abilities, and strengths. Like yoga, TRX uses body-weight resistance to encourage mindful engagement, improved balance, and a deeper exploration of postures.

FAQ's
Do I need to pre-register?
Yes, please pre-register if you can. Our space is limited to 7 participants, if you arrive and the class is full you will not be able to attend.
What should I bring?
Please bring water. It is also a good idea to bring a light jacket during the cooler season as both of our locations are along the water. Lightweight sleeves, like a fishing shirt, in the summer are nice as sun protection. Shoes are optional for all classes depending on your personal needs. Please see the pointers on shoes for TRX in the class description.
Do I need to pay for parking?
Parking at Oceanfront Park, behind the Marathon City Offices at 99th Street is free. Parking at Sombrero Beach Park is metered - residents with vehicles registered in Marathon park for free. Please see the city website for further details on metered parking for residents.
What if I pre-register and need to cancel?
Please cancel your booking so someone else may have your spot. You will receive a registration confirmation email and will be able to cancel through that email.
How can I make my donation?
You will be able to donate in person when you attend. Cash and electronic payments are accepted.

I am a healthy 83-year-old woman who does yoga at at least two times a week. Niuyoga has helped me remain an active and motivated person. it keeps me feeling good both mentally and physically. Going to yoga class is a good reason to get up and out of bed in the morning!! thanks to Lynne my YOGA INSTRUCTOR for helping me stay well. I love Yoga and her instruction style
