I saw an ad for this indoor yoga class on facebook.  Having never attended a yoga class before and because of my physical limitations, I was nervous, but I wanted to give it a try.  Lynne, our instructor, had such a calming voice, and the exercises made me feel relaxed.  I did not have to do them to perfection, but every movement was a positive step forward.  I loved the class!

This 75-minute session begins with standing stretches and balance work using the TRX as both support and prop for yoga postures. The practice then evolves into a TRX strength and conditioning sequence designed to build core stability, arm and leg strength—offering a truly full-body workout.

The session is fully adaptable to all levels, with movements personalized to each individual’s goals, abilities, and strengths. Like yoga, TRX uses body-weight resistance to encourage mindful engagement, improved balance, and a deeper exploration of postures.

All necessary equipment is provided. Please bring water. Shoes are optional; however, if you choose to wear shoes for added stability and traction, a lace-up option is recommended. Simple lace-up water shoes or zero-rise fitness shoes work well, and more supportive footwear is also appropriate if comfortable for you. Practicing barefoot is welcome as well—please note that the surface is a slatted deck.

Expect a dynamic, empowering, and refreshingly different practice that builds strength, balance, confidence—and fun along the way.

 absolutely loved this yoga class. The open-air location right by the water creates such a peaceful, grounding atmosphere — it instantly puts you in the right headspace to unwind. It’s welcoming and accessible for all levels, whether you’re brand new or have been practicing for years.

I also really appreciated the addition of TRX. It’s a great complement to the yoga flow and adds just the right amount of strength training to balance flexibility and relaxation. The combination leaves you feeling both calm and strong.

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a refreshing, well-rounded class in a beautiful setting.

This 60 minute session begins utilizing the TRX for standing stretches and balance and as a prop for Yoga postures. We continue with a TRX strength and conditioning practice to strengthen core, arms, legs; truly a full body workout that is adaptable to any individuals abilities and strengths. All necessary gear is provided. Please bring water. Shoes are optional, though if you choose to wear shoes for stability, and traction I recommend a lace-up shoe. Something as simple as a lace-up water shoe or zero-rise fitness shoe works well. A more supportive shoe is great if it is comfortable for you. Barefoot also works, please be advised that the surface is a deck, so it is slatted.

I have been taking Lynne's yoga classes for quite some time now, and more recently, her TRX classes. 
Lynne's all-inclusive style of teaching makes her classes great for people of all ages, levels and experiences. There are so many wonderful aspects of yoga, but I find the stretching aspect highly beneficial to the way I feel.
The TRX classes have been a wonderful addition to my exercise routine. I am feeling noticeably stronger in a relatively short period of time. It is also great for people of all ages and abilities thanks to the simple adjustments you can make with each exercise.
I am so glad that Lynne offers these classes in Marathon as they have put me back on the path of fitness and well-being.
